Alejo is a young advertising, music videos, and film director from Colombia. I grew up in Madrid, studied film in London, then moved to Los Angeles and Paris.
His stylised, and visually rich films are driven by simple and enjoyable stories dosed with a touch of humour. He pays great attention to narrative and character development since his ultimate goal is to direct long format fiction for cinema.
He was shortlisted in Cannes 2015 for a Young Director's Award.
